ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Explore Media and Educational Tours was established in 2001 with the idea of fostering and promoting
international understanding through intercultural exchange hence EMET’S participation in the 2003
International Child Art Festival at the National Mall in Washington D.C.
In an effort to achieve this goal, EMET has decided to partner with organizations that share this
common goal. We have designed
three to five week all year round programs for individuals and groups to immerse in the culture
and language of Ghana by living with a host family, engaging in academic, language and cultural exchange.
All programs bring together young people from a variety of socio economic backgrounds for an
experience that challenges stereotypes, builds personal awareness and a capacity for understanding
and celebrates diversity.
