About Adoma’s camp
Adoma’s camp will provide a perfect mix of education and recreation through international travel and local travel, helping students become more balanced, open and insightful world citizens.
Designed for students from all corners of the world, our camp site located in Kwahu, Eastern region of Ghana is set on a mountain terrain, with a serene atmosphere, it provides a holiday which combine discovery and enriching experiences to children 8 to 18 years.
This includes the exciting new sports and activities through visual and performing arts with learning and brushing up on languages. It is also the perfect grooming spot for children during the long summer vacation.
At Adoma’s camp every guest is a young adult, with each and everyone expressing his or her individuality within a truly international circle. Children and teenagers come from have an unforgettable holiday trying new sports and activities, discovering other cultures and making new friends.
From the program of activities to the quality of accommodation, sports instructors, language teachers and administrators, everything has been provided for so that you can entrust your children to our care with a feeling of security. They will return with everlasting fantastic memories of their holidays.
ORGANIZATION
Adoma's camp is run by Run by Explore Media and Educational tours a brilliant idea scooped up by the directors of the company Alfred Gyan and Afia Armah. As visual artists the directors hope that this camp will be a groundbreaking experience for young children in Ghana to learn through art, entertainment and sports, something an area which has been ignored for many years. Coming from diverse countries, the different cultures Adoma’s camp provides will make it an exceptional experience and learning field for anyone.
At the camp they are supported by a camp Activities Director whose job is to co-ordinate the instructors & counselors, supervise the activities, manage security, and in general keep things running smoothly at the camps.
The camp programs are fully supervised, with an average ratio of 1 adult per 5 children, and the camps are divided into age groups. Each group is managed by a group leader, an assistant and a team of instructors & counselors who accompany and take care of the children during activities and throughout the camp. On top of this we use professional instructors for certain activities, and our language teachers are university graduates.
Finally, there is a team of kitchen staff, house cleaners, drivers and others, all of whom watch over the well-being of our guests during the camps.
MEALS
Adoma’s Camp offers large buffet breakfasts and varied lunches and dinners designed to satisfy all students based on our experience with camps and student travel programs. The Eastern region where the camp is located produces fresh non-fertilized products which are used to prepare well balanced international meals and are tailored to the youngster’s needs, requirements and wishes. (E.g. Vegetarian diet, European diet, etc.).
